Mike comes to us with many years of experience with increasingly responsible roles within several member only clubs and public/member clubs. In addition, Mike has worked and traveled with many nationally ranked juniors, many that have moved on to play for nationally ranked division I schools.

Mike is originally from Charlotte, NC. He moved to Hilton Head Island as a sophomore to train full time at Van Der Meer Tennis University. He rose to the rank of number 1 in both singles and doubles in North Carolina as a junior. He began his college career at North Carolina State University before transferring to College of Charleston where he finished playing for the Cougars. During his junior year at the College of Charleston, he assisted the tennis team to a Southern Conference Championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament. Mike is an outstanding player and continues to compete in national events today. As many of may recall, he was one of the foremost players in the inaugural Hilton Head Tennis Pro League.

Keith Hutcheson is from the Northern Virginia area.  A junior player standout, Keith played tennis for the University of Richmond.  After enjoying a a successful career in banking, Keith is enjoying his second career in tennis.  Keith teaches the junior clincs here at South Beach and is available for lessons with any age and ability.  Keith lives in Bluffton with wife Jamie and their three children, Amy, Jacqueline and Benton.
